NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

North Augusta Public Safety needs your help in identifying five individuals who robbed and shot two men on Chalet North Court off of Bradleyville Road.

On Friday around 9pm, Darryl Trotty, Jr, and his uncle, Milton Williams, Jr, were standing in front of 141 Chalet North Court when several subjects approached them wearing camouflage coats and masks.

The suspects then presented pistols and demanded their money. Witnesses to the incident observed Trotty being assaulted by the suspects prior to being shot in his left foot. Trotty was transported to a local hospital for medical attention on his non-life threatening gunshot wound.  Williams was not injured during the robbery.  The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money from both victims.  Aiken County's Bloodhound Tracking Team responded to the scene but was unsuccessful in locating any suspect.

Anyone with information about the incident or the identities of the suspects is encouraged to contact Public Safety's lead investigator, Det. Chris Toole at 803-441-4217.
