Some of Augusta's most charitable organizations are getting some help of their own.
"Well 'Days of Giving' is probably one of the most wonderful experiences," said Susan Hunnicutt, who works with Wells Fargo.
The bank sponsored the 'Days of Giving' breakfast which brought 19 non profit organizations together and gave each one, $1000.
"Right now we have a waiting list serving children," said Dan Hillman, the Director of Child Enrichment Incorporated, an organization providing support to victims of child abuse.
they receive ten counseling sessions there is a good chance they will
be on the road to recovery that they will heal from the torture and the
trauma of being sexually abused for years," said Hillman.
Child Enrichment not only provides a refuge and support system for abused children, but also donates clothes, shoes and toys to little ones in need.
"What resonated with me is how each organization spoke to the multiplier effect," said Hunnicutt.
The non profits who received donations say they are thankful for the support and know the money will go far.
"It's amazing and it's amazing to be chosen and to be supported and to be recognized and we need help," said Hillman.
Getting help in order to give help what Wells Fargo say 'Days of Giving' is all about.
