UPDATE: Suspect identified in robbery of Aiken credit union

Investigators with the Aiken Department of Public Safety have identified and issued warrants for the arrest of Clarence Junior Green. Green has been charged with two counts of Bank Robbery for the September 21, 2012 and November 13, 2012 robberies of the South Carolina State Credit Union located at 210 Beaufort Street, NE, in Aiken.

Green is described as a thirty-two year old black male, approximately 6'02", weighing 240 pounds. A current address is not available for Green, but he is known to loiter and frequent area motels.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is responding to a robbery at the South Carolina State Credit Union located at 210 Beaufort Street NE in Aiken.

ADPS tells FOX54 that the suspected entered the bank just after 12pm through the back door. The suspect then approached the teller, and demanded money from the drawer. He then fled the location in what is believed to be a red or burgundy late 80s early 90s model Ford Tempo.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 30s, medium build, 5'10"-6'00", weighing 200-225 lbs., with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red long sleeve shirt, light colored pants, white sneakers, and black toboggan hat. The suspect covered his face with a gray t-shirt.

Anyone with information related to this robbery is asked to contact Crimestoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME_SC. Callers will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $1000
