UPDATE: Two in custody following weekend shooting in Aiken County

Captain Troy Elwell with the Aiken County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of two suspects in regards to the weekend shooting in Bath, SC.

David Eugene Rosier Jr, 45, of Trenton, SC has been charged with the murder of Donnie James Davis, 20, of Warrenville, SC. Joshua Allen Rosier, 21, of Trenton, SC, who also goes by Joseph, has been charged with assault and battery due to an altercation that occurred just prior to the shooting.

Davis was shot in the face and killed following an altercation that turned to gunfire in a home on Church Street in Bath.

One man is dead after a shooting in Aiken County Saturday night. It happened around 10 p.m. at 56 Church Street in Bath, S.C. Investigators say the victim was shot in the face after an altercation turned into gun fire.

Deputies believe three people were involved in the incident, including David Rosier Jr., 45, of Trenton, S.C.

According to the report, Dean Blackmon, who lives in the home told investigators the victim had been shot and way lying on the floor of the residence.

The investigation is in its early stages. We will bring you more details as they become available.
