UPDATE: Gloverville shooting ruled accidental

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in Gloverville overnight. Captain Troy Elwell tells FOX54 the shooting was accidental.

The call came in around 9:30pm, reporting one person shot at the Villa Oaks Apartments off of Cushman Road.

The person was shot in the leg and taken to an area hospital.

Neighbors tell FOX54 that the victim is a female around 30 years of age. ACSO has yet to confirm the identity of the victim.
