Augusta Riverhawks prepare for season opener

Posted: Updated:

The Augusta Riverhawks are ready to hit the ice as they prepare for their season opener tomorrow night.

Thursday afternoon the 2012-2013 team was introduced the 17-man roster for the first time. Last year they had a winning season. This year they've set high expectations.

"We want to have another winning season, be at the top of the league," said Branden Kosolofsky. "The past two seasons, we've been right up there; positive years so, and ultimately we want to win the championship. Nothing less this year."

The puck drops Friday night at 7:35 in the James Brown Arena.
