Health Dept. announces dates for Tuberculosis testing

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

The Richmond County Health Department released dates today for tuberculosis testing at Butler High School.

The testing follows a scare from earlier after a student at Butler High was believed to have contracted TB.

Here's the schedule:

TB testing MONDAY thru WEDNESDAY; Time 9:00 am to 2:30 pm

TB tests placed on Monday will be read on Wednesday

TB tests placed on Tuesday will be read on Thursday

TB tests placed on Wednesday will be read on Friday

TB reading ONLY: THURSDAY THRU FRIDAY; Time 9:00 am to 2:30 pm

Any students who do not have tests placed Monday thru Wednesday of next week may be tested at the Health Department at 950 Laney Walker Boulevard from 9 am- 4 pm starting Monday November 12. No tests will be placed on Thursdays.
