A unique catch in Seaside won't be ending up on anyone's dinner plate.

Nathan Fulton caught this crab on Oct. 18 off the 12th Avenue Bridge.

Knowing it was a unique and rare find, Fulton donated the crab to the Seaside Aquarium, workers at the aquarium told FOX 12.

Notice it has double pinchers on its right side, giving it three pinchers in all.

As crabs grow, they shed their old shells and grow new ones in a process called molting.

The folks at the aquarium said that sometimes crabs get injured while molting, which can cause strange deformities in their shells.
