Several trucks damaged, plant evacuated following fire at Pepsi Plant

UPDATE: August Fire Rescue tells FOX54 they believe the fire started because of an electrical problem in one of the trucks. The fire started when the trucks were unloading.

No injuries have been reported. This is the first time an incident like this has happened at the facility.

FOX54 is getting reports of a fire at the Pepsi Bottling Plant on Bobby Jones Expressway.

We're told by residents in the area, that explosions could be heard.

No word yet on any injuries or the status of that fire. FOX54 has a crew on the scene and will pass more information along as soon as we get it here in our newsroom.
