Robbery suspect wanted in Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Richmond County deputies are on the lookout for another bank robbery suspect today.

The hold up happened around 10:30 this morning at the Queensborough National Bank on Tobacco Road.

Investigators say a black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carpenter style blue jeans gave employees a note demanding money and fled the scene on foot.

The suspect was last seen running across Tobacco Road onto Gibraltar Drive.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is seeking the community's assistance in identifying and apprehending the suspect. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1080. All information will be held confidential.
