AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

An Augusta woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Central Avenue at Merry Street.

Investigators on the scene say a 1996 black Tahoe was traveling north on Merry Street when it hit a 1990 silver Chevy Blazer. The Blazer flipped. All 3 occupants were ejected.

60 year old Nellie Walker was killed in the crash.

Denesha Jones is at fault for the crash and was taken from the scene in handcuffs.  Investigators on scene say she had no insurance and she will be charged with vehicular homicide in the third degree.

The road was shut down for a couple hours this afternoon while investigators worked the scene.
