A man is wanted in connection with two armed robberies in Richmond County.
The robberies occurred on September 19 and on October 1. In both instances, elderly males were followed
from the Wal-Mart on Deans Bridge Road after purchasing money orders or cashing
checks. The suspect has been observed
following the victims into the store and then out of the store.
In both cases the suspect was a passenger in
a dark blue mini-van, believed to be a Dodge Caravan. The suspect followed the
victims to their residences where he approached the victims and demanded their
personal belongings at gunpoint. After obtaining their belongings, the suspect
fled the scenes in the blue mini-van.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect is asked to
contact the Richmond County Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080 and ask to speak
