Developing: ADPS searching for two armed robbery suspects

Aiken Department of Public Safety investigators are searching for two suspects in connection to a Monday afternoon armed robbery.

According to Lt. David Turno, two men entered the Lominick's Pharmacy located at 839 Richland Ave. around 12:15 p.m., and demanded the clerk hand over narcotic medicine. The suspects took the medicine before fleeing the store in the area of Waterloo St.

One of the suspects produced what investigators believe to be a semiautomatic handgun.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'9", 180 lbs., and wearing a gray jacket. The other is said to be a black male, 6'1", 250 lbs., wearing a brown jacket with a yellow stripe.
