TEMPE, AZ (CBS5/AP) -

A suspect is in custody in connection with a string of armed robberies in Mesa and Tempe last month, police said Thursday.

Gabriel Bedoy, 28, was booked into the Tempe City Jail on felony charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault.

Bedoy is accused of robbing six businesses in a four-day span starting on Sept. 24.

Here's the list of locations he allegedly robbed:

9/24/12: Subway at Alma School and University in Mesa.

9/25/12: Shell Gas Station at 2180 E. Broadway in Tempe.

9/27/12: Little Caesar's at 1151 W. University in Mesa.

9/28/12: Subway at 1332 S. Country Club in Mesa.

9/28/12: 7-Eleven Convenience Store at 1310 E Broadway in Tempe.

9/28/12: Little Caesar's at 711 E. Broadway in Tempe.

Bedoy allegedly entered the businesses with a semi-automatic handgun and forced the clerks to give him money, then fled in a vehicle, said Tempe police spokesman Sgt. Jeffrey Glover.

Glover said evidence obtained from one of the robbery locations was used to help identify Bedoy as a suspect.

The suspect was located by the Tempe Police Department Criminal Apprehension Surveillance Team in the area of Longmore and Southern in Mesa, driving the same vehicle used to commit the robberies, police said.
