GHSU kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month

AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

GHSU is kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month a little early.

Breast cancer survivors hung pink ribbons today around the hospital's cancer center. Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women of all races.

The women chosen to hang the ribbons all won their battle against breast cancer.
