Dozens of rescued puppies head to Aiken

AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

Dozens of puppies that were rescued from a puppy mill in Edgefield County will be heading to Aiken.

The Center for Animal Welfare in Aiken will be taking in 33 of the rescued dogs. The Center will neuter/spay the dogs, update their shots, micro-chip them, and give them exams. About 4 or 5 dogs over the next few weeks will begin to be available daily for adoption.
