Fort Gordon welcomes new Major General to 335th Signal Command

Fort Gordon, GA (WFXG) - Saturday morning the 335th Signal Command (Theater) installs its new leader.

Brig. Gen. L. Wayne Brock, III was promoted to Major General at a change of command ceremony on Barton Field at Fort Gordon.

Maj. Gen. Brock will replace Maj. Gen. Stuart M. Dyer, leading 8,000 soldiers in the unit.

The 335th Signal Command delivers communications, voice, data, e-mail and the entire realm of information management services to military members and coalition partners in Southwest Asia. The command also trains and provides chemical units and Soldiers in support of Homeland Defense Operations.
