BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

According to a tweet from former LSU Soccer player Mo Isom, it appears she did not make the LSU Football team.

@MoIsom: I am heartbroken, but my head is held high. Knowing I gave everything I had is the greatest victory. Unending thanks to my LSU football fam.

Isom did not make the cut to join LSU Football team this past spring, but LSU Coach Les Miles told her to try out again this Fall.

Isom was a former star goalie on the LSU Soccer team, who has grown a following of thousands for overcoming adversity, her strong religious beliefs, and attempt to land a spot on the Tiger's football team as a kicker.
