Job Description:

WFXG-TV, the Fox Affiliate in beautiful Augusta, Georgia is seeking a forward thinking Marketing Director.  This position oversees commercial production, promotion and marketing for WFXG-TV, Bounce Augusta, wfxg.com and our expanding suite of digital & social media products.   

To be successful you will need strong leadership and decision making skills, extraordinary creativity and the ability to develop research based strategic plans.  You will need excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to combine news judgment with sales revenue generating projects.  While not required, a good sense of humor will come in handy.  Special consideration will be given to candidates with a deep social media understanding and a proven track record marketing a news oriented TV station.

Responsibilities include: overall station on-air look, press relations, community outreach, attainment of commercial production revenue goals, development and execution of an effective on-air, on-line and social media marketing plan, managing commercial and promotion production staff, and development & implementation of outside media marketing. 

Minimum requirements are: 2-3 years of television marketing leadership experience, a Bachelor's degree in a closely related field, non-linear editing and field production skills and a competitive drive to succeed.
