UPDATE: Suspect in Broad Street brawl arrested; others involved wanted

UPDATE: Richmond County Investigators were able to identify and arrest James Armstrong for Aggravated Battery in connection to the beating incident at Wheels located on Broad Street.  Armstrong was identified by viewers after the videos were released to the media.  The Sheriff's Office greatly appreciates the support the media and community give in solving crimes.

This case is still under investigation and investigators are still attempting to identify other people featured in the video surveillance previously provided to the media outlets.  If any other subjects are known, callers are asked to contact the Sheriff's Office.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Richmond County investigators need your help finding a man caught on camera during a Broad Street fight.

The fight happened on April 7 at Wheelz located at 879 Broad Street. Richmond County investigators were called out to an assault. During the course of the investigation it was learned that the unknown white male wearing the red shirt seen in the cell phone video started a fight inside the business which eventually spilled out into the street.

While out on the street the unknown subject continued to fight with several victims to include Jorge Villalba who was struck in the head. Villabla fell to the ground after being struck and was rendered unconscious. Villabla was transported to GHSU and it was discovered that he suffered from facial injuries as well as a fractured skull.

The Sheriff's Office is currently seeking the communities assistance with identifying and the apprehension of the unknown subject. Anyone with any information should contact the Sheriff's office at 706-821-1080 and all information will be held confidential.
