CBS 5 'Toxic Secrets' investigation wins Edward R. Murrow Award

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

CBS-5 News has won a 2012 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award in the Video Investigating Reporting category for a series on Agent Orange drums that were secretly buried three decades ago on a U.S. Army base.

The Toxic Secrets series of reports were produced by 5 Investigates' Tammy Leitner and David Paredes, and CBS 5 News executive producer Kathy Clark.

CBS-5 News has also won a prestigious George Foster Peabody Award and an award from the Society of Professional Journalists for the Toxic Secrets investigation.
