Hero football coach prayed with dying students, "wiped their tears"

CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -

Chardon High School Assistant Football Coach, Frank Hall, addressed the community Thursday and the parents of the shooting victims during a 4pm press conference.

Hall is responsible for chasing suspected gunman TJ Lane out of Chardon High School during his shooting rampage Monday morning that took the lives of three students, injuring two others.

In a brief statement directed to the parents who lost their loved ones, Hall said they weren't alone and that he "prayed with them and wiped their tears."

TJ Lane has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder and one count of felonious assault.
