DEKALB COUNTY (WFXG) -

UPDATE: Authorities near Atlanta say two children reported missing earlier Wednesday from the roadside along I-20, have been found safe.

Dekalb police are looking for two young children who were taken early this morning. Three-year-old Jalen Mattison and one-year-old Amari Mattison were last seen around 1:30 a.m. on Wesley Chapel Road.

The children's mother told police that the suspect offered to help her after her car broke down on I-20 Eastbound. As she made arrangements to have her car towed, she says the suspect drove off with her two children. She did not know the suspect.

Dekalb police are looking for a black male around 6' tall with a thin build. He was wearing a light brown or tan baseball hat. He was driving a green Jeep Cherokee. The children are considered to be in danger. If you have any information please call Dekalb police at 770-724-7841.
