AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Joshua Jones was growling, yelling and even cursing at the judge during his bond hearing yesterday.

His father, James Jones, says he hasn't seen this behavior before, "Well it surprised me the way that he's acting right now because he never acted like that before."

Fox54 looked into Jones criminal history; and it turns out he has quite a long rap sheet.

Jones was arrested and charged with a car license offense in January 2009. He was also charged with distributing paraphernalia, unlawful possession, possessing a stolen gun, and assault and battery.

Later in July 2011 he was arrested and charged with giving false information, a seatbelt violation and carrying a concealed weapon.

Jones is now charged with the murder of his five week pregnant girlfriend, Cayce Vice.

Fox54's Mark Barber asked Cayce's father, Howard Vice, "What are you thinking when you watch this video of Jones in the courtroom yesterday?" Vice replied, "This is all a mental put on because Jones isn't like that at all, he's normal."

Howard says he lived in an apartment with Cayce and Jones for a month and never saw Jones act the same way he acted in court Monday.

"That's an act, that's all an act he's normal he's doing that because he knows what he's done to us and he's doing that to try to come up with a mental case for the courts and that's what it's all about," said Vice.

And for the family in grief, James Jones said, "I'm really sorry for what has happened to them."

"It doesn't get worse it can't. It doesn't get worse; there's no other way to put it," said Vice.

Cayce's funeral will be at 1 PM tomorrow at Poteet and Son on Davis road Wednesday.

There will also be a candle light vigil for Cayce at 6 PM at the Greens on Washington.
