Columbia County, GA (WFXG) -
Columbia County, in
cooperation with Beam Contracting, Inc., wishes to inform the driving public of
some temporary lane shifts/lane closures along the portion of N Belair Road in
the vicinity of its intersection with Industrial Park Drive. The lane
shifts/closures will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, Wednesday, Thursday,
and if needed Friday, February 11st thru February 3rd,
2012.
The temporary lane
shifts/lane closures are to allow for the paving of the new approach leg and
new lanes at the intersection of North Belair Rd @ Industrial Park Dr and the
asphaltic overlay of existing lanes in the vicinity of the intersection.
Although the roadway will
remain open to traffic, periodically there will be lane closures and/or lane
shifts impacting traffic while the work is ongoing. These lane closures
and/or lane shifts will vary in location on the different lanes and approaches
to the intersection.
Please exercise caution
when traveling thru the active work zone and be aware that conditions and work locations within the work zone
will change throughout these time periods. Please plan to take an
alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting on these days.
