
Derek Dellinger is a reporter for FOX Carolina and usually appears on FOX Carolina News Tonight.
Derek grew up in Sylva, NC, and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a bachelor's degree in communications.
Derek started his broadcasting career in radio stations in western North Carolina and Chattanooga, TN. Then, he made the jump to television news by working as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WTVC-TV in Chattanooga. After a stint in Chattanooga, Derek moved to sunny Fort Myers, FL, where he worked as a reporter, producer and fill-in anchor at WBBH-TV and WZVN-TV.
In January 2012, Derek joined FOX Carolina.
