STATE COLLEGE, PA (RNN) - Former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky was arrested Wednesday after two more accusers testified they were sexually abused by him, bringing the number of alleged victims to 10.

The charges were brought after both victims, now adults, were questioned by a grand jury. Both accusers were part of Sandusky's Second Mile charity. One claims he was assaulted in 1997 and the other in 2004.

Bail has been set at $250,000.

According to the newest grand jury report, one of the victims, now 18, screamed for help from the basement as Sandusky raped him. The victim testified that Sandusky's wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him.

Both victims testified that Sandusky told them he loved them. They were allegedly assaulted in his basement and in pools located on campus and at a local hotel. They described scenarios in which Sandusky would rub against them, touch their bodies and grope their genitals.

"I took it at first he was just a nice guy, like he went to church every weekend, his kids would come over once in a while and stuff," said one of the victims in his testimony. "And after a while, like, he got used to me and stuff and started getting further and further, wanting – to touchy feely."

Both victims contacted authorities after news of Sandusky's initial arrest first broke.

Sandusky had previously been charged with 40 counts for abusing eight boys over a 15-year period between 1994 and 2009. His preliminary hearing on the original charges is set for Tuesday.

The scandal has played out before TV cameras, with the accused being shown in a taped interview with The New York Times appearing to have difficulty answering questions about whether he was attracted to young boys.

At one point Sandusky's lawyer interjected to clarify that he is not sexually attracted to boys.

He was interviewed on the NBC news magazine show Rock Center, and refuted grand jury testimony of assistant coach Mike McQueary, who said that in 2002 he walked in on Sandusky abusing a boy in a Penn State sports facility shower.

Sandusky said he "touched their leg without intent of sexual contact."

The New York Times has said as many as 10 more victims have stepped forward to claim Sandusky abused him.

The scandal has horrified the nation and rocked the Penn State community. Students turned out in droves to protest the firing of head coach Joe Paterno, and Paterno's wife was reportedly turned away from the university pool.

The school president was also fired. Two administrators have been charged with perjury and failure to report the alleged abuse in a case that implies a cover-up.

A civil lawsuit has been filed by one victim – now 29 years old – who says Sandusky abused him more than 100 times in the 1990s.

According to CNN, Sandusky's attorney, Joseph Amendola, says he has spoken with that man, and he told Amendola that he was not abused by Sandusky.

Attempts by AP to contact Amendola were unsuccessful.
