AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

Three young teenagers have been arrested in connection to an October armed robbery and carjacking.

Fifteen-year-old Brandon Tanksley, 14-year-old Cortez Berry, and 13-year-old Shymel Drinks were arrested and charged as adults with armed robbery.

All three were taken to the Richmond County Youth Detention Center.

The three teens are believed to be part of a group that approached two men on October 28 at a home on Dugas St. in Augusta, brandished a gun, and demanded money.

One suspect struck one of the victims in the back of the head and took several items, including keys to the victim's Ford F-150.

All four suspects fled the scene in the stolen truck, and ditched the vehicle on Bleakley St. after a brief police chase.

Richmond County investigators located the suspects after receiving an anonymous tip about the case. The three suspects were then brought in for questioning, and charged later that evening.

Two other teenagers are being sought in the case. Police are searching for 17-year-old George Grace and 16-year-old Lloyd Watson. Grace's last known address is on Wrightsboro Rd. and Watson is believed to be in the Atlanta area.

One of the victims tells Fox 54 the incident was an "eye-opening" experience, and says he's glad the suspects were apprehended.
