Elizabeth Rawlins joined WFXG in December 2012. Born and raised in Georgia, she is thrilled to be reporting in her native state.
Before moving to Augusta, Elizabeth interned at WSB-TV in Atlanta. She was a news intern and then was offered to join the investigative team, interning under award-winning investigative reporter Jodie Fleischer.
She graduated in 2012 from Georgia College & State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations with a minor in Political Science. She also is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
In 2010, she interned in the First District of Georgia for Congressman Jack Kingston.
Elizabeth is a member of Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) and The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS).
