I was born and raised in a beautiful Rocky Mountain city, Colorado Springs.
When I was eight-years-old, my family moved to Kansas. So, I did the rest of my growing up in the small, mid-western town of Marysville.
I was fortunate to graduate from high-school two years early. As a sixteen-year-old, I followed my love of journalism from my home in Kansas to Greenville, South Carolina to study at Bob Jones University.
During my time as a student there, I reported for campus news, WBJU-TV and interned as a reporter for a local TV station, WYYF4, in Greenville.
I graduated May, 2011 with a B. S. in Mass Media and began my career in August as a twenty-year-old with the Fox54 News at 10 team.
In my spare time you can find me running on the North Augusta Greenway, learning to speak Spanish and exploring the CSRA. I'm also a member at Westside Baptist Church in Martinez.
