
Ron grew up in the city of Savannah and attended public schools there. He graduated from Groves High School in 1967. He enrolled at Savannah State College in the Summer of 1967 in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Technology.
After three years of study he left school to begin a broadcast career at Savannah's WSOK radio. Two years later, he accepted a job at WSGA radio in Savannah. In 1986 he came to work at WTOC. And now, he has the pleasure of working for FOX54 in Augusta!
As a hobby, Ron loves to work on computers. He is also an active member of St. Philip A.M.E. Church in Savannah.
