Update: Lacy is in her forever home. Don't forget about her furry friends!

Meet our Pet of the Week Lacy!

Lacy is a 5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Hound mix. She loves to be around people and going on long walks in parks where I can use my nose the most would make me very happy!

She enjoys a fair amount of physical activity, but she's 5 now, so she's generally laid back, even for a hound.

If you know hounds, and you are looking for a calm and loyal canine friend to hang with, come and meet Lacy. Maybe it will be a match made in Heaven!
Lacy is up for adoption at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. If you adopt him, his initial exam is free complements of our Pet Connections Sponsors:

Peggy's Picks is sponsored by the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue LeagueHarmony Animal Hospital in Jupiter and Community Animal Hospital in Royal Palm Beach.

About Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

The vision of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Our mission is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay & neuter and other medical services for companion animals and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.

Peggy Adams is a facility committed to finding adoptable loving homes for all animals that enter through our doors.

Once an animal comes into our facility, we are committed to providing all of the medical and behavioral tools necessary for the animal to be rehabilitated and placed into a permanent loving home.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League does not receive funding from city, county, state, or the federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations to accomplish our mission.
