Your $$$: Judge approves another $55K for accused Cleveland Strangler's defense team

19 Action News just discovered that a judge approved even more of your tax dollars to help defend accused Cleveland Strangler, serial killer Anthony Sowell.

19 Action News broke this story on www.19actionnews.com Thursday.

Now, Judge Dick Ambrose just approved another $55K for Sowell's defense.

Records show this comes after a closed door hearing, just one day after Cuyahoga County prosecutors complained about Sowell money matters getting handled in secret.

Anthony Sowell has been accused of killing eleven women in the Cleveland area and burying their bodies in and around his Imperial Avenue property on the city's east side.

Sowell faces the death penalty.
