Update: Cashew is now in her forever home, but don't forget about her furry friends!

Meet our Pet of the Week Cashew. She's a 3-year-old domestic short hair who's up for adoption at the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Cashew is a lovely, soft gray and white cat. She still has lots of kitten sweetness and lots of personality! Cashew has gorgeous lime green eyes, and a gray saddle, with cute gray mask and nose. She has a bright snowy white chest, tummy and front legs, and white, white whiskers! Cashew has an adorable little soprano meow and trill. She's receptive and playful toward other kitties, and should be fine as a sibling or only child. This curious, funny, sweet kitty will be the most loving, adorable little pet for her new owner.

Peggy's Picks is sponsored by the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue LeagueHarmony Animal Hospital in Jupiter and Community Animal Hospital in Royal Palm Beach.

About Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League

The vision of the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized because of pet overpopulation.

Our mission is to provide shelter to lost, homeless and unwanted animals, to provide spay & neuter and other medical services for companion animals and to care for, protect, and find quality homes for homeless and neglected companion animals, to advocate animal welfare, community involvement and education to further the bond between people and animals.

Peggy Adams is a facility committed to finding adoptable loving homes for all animals that enter through our doors.

Once an animal comes into our facility, we are committed to providing all of the medical and behavioral tools necessary for the animal to be rehabilitated and placed into a permanent loving home.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League does not receive funding from city, county, state, or the federal government, or local organizations with similar names. We rely solely on the generosity of individuals, foundations and corporations to accomplish our mission.
