90s, and dewpoints in the mid 70s.

* TIMING...Highest temperatures and heat index values will be
between noon and 6 PM this evening.

* IMPACTS...The excessive heat may quickly cause heat stress or

A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned

Take extra precautions, if you work or spend time outside. When
possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or

* Locations...much of central Georgia along and south of a line
from Hamilton to Forsyth to Louisville.

* Heat Index Values...105 to 108

* Impacts...The combination of heat and humidity will lead to an
increased risk for heat related illnesses, including heat
stroke and dehydration for those outside or without air
conditioning. Additionally, car interiors will reach lethal
temperatures in a matter of minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Heat Advisory means that a period of dangerous heat is
expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
will create heat index readings of at least 105 degrees and very
warm overnight temperatures. drink plenty of fluids, stay in an
