    A car carrying a child malfunctioned and rolled out of the driveway and into a neighboring house. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office responded to the 3000 block of Dowling Dr. on March 27. The CCSO says that just before 8:30 p.m., a white, 1996 Ford F-150 was parked in the driveway when it had a mechanical malfunction.

    The City of North Augusta will be holding its regular City Council Meeting today, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. Some topics on the agenda will be the agreement to Crown Castle NG East, the North Augusta Development Code, Property Maintenance funding and WTC Enterprise agreements. The meeting will take place at the North Augusta Municipal Building located at 100 Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, on the 3rd floor.
