Two injured in Columbia County crash
Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Tuesday in Columbia County near Columbia Rd and Bel Air Rd.

COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WFXG) - Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Tuesday in Columbia County near Columbia Rd. and Belair Rd.

The crash happened just after 9:30 a.m. Traffic was reduced to one lane as crews worked to get injured passengers out of vehicles. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of a tan Chevrolet Tahoe pulled out of a parking lot and into the patch of a blue Toyota Sienna, causing it to hit a red Toyota Camry.

Two people were taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital, complaining of neck and back pain. According to the sheriff’s office, the injuries were not serious.

The driver of the Tahoe was cited for failure to yield while entering a roadway.
