AUGUSTA, GA. (WFXG) - Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was back in the CSRA for her “We Are Georgia – Our Voices. Our Votes. Our Time” Early Vote Bus Tour. She’s crisscrossing the State to Encourage Georgians to Make Their Voices Heard.
Abrams and her campaign will make stops across the state during the three weeks of in-person early voting and up until Election Day. She talked about the recent voter suppression scandal, expanding Medicaid, and why the CSRA is so important.
“The CSRA is so critical to the economy of Georgia between the work that’s being done in cyber security, the tourist and hospitality industry and simply the innovation that’s happening here - I want that to be a critical part of the conversation we’re having," Abrams told FOX 54.
We caught up with her on Reynolds Street in Augusta - Abrams also visited Waynesboro, Grovetown, and Thomson. Her next stops are Griffin and Stockbridge.
