ALBANY (WFXG) -Isolated showers will continue to diminish as they move east tonight with patchy fog developing overnight into our Tuesday morning. Lows will only make it near 70 degrees, which is well-above average for this time of the year. Tuesday afternoon will be the warmest out of the next week, with a slight chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm. A cold front will move over the CSRA on Tuesday, allowing fall-like weather to return for the end of the week.
Wednesday’s will be a handful of degrees cooler with highs near 80°, but highs drop near 70° on Thursday with morning lows in the mid-50s.
A second and stronger cold front moves in on Saturday, which will give us the best chance of rain out of the next week. Behind this weekend’s cold front, even cooler air will filter in behind it. Highs on Sunday will only make it to the upper 60s with mid 40s possible for our Monday morning commute. -Meteorologist Andrew Gorton
